چکیده
Abstract Introduction The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate the shear bond strength (SBS) and adhesive remnant index (ARI) scores two different applications aesthetic brackets produced from permanent crown material using 3D-printing technology. Methods Sixty maxillary premolar teeth extracted for orthodontic reasons were divided into main groups according type bracket (metal n =30, 3D-printed =30) further subgroups (flowable composite, Tokuyama SuperLow; non-flowable composite; 3M Transbond XT). SBS ARI score evaluations conducted experimental control ( =15). Statistical analysis performed by a one-way variance, post-hoc test, Fisher’s exact test. significance accepted as P < 0.05. Results specimens significantly affected composite 0.001). However, values within or above desired range treatment all groups. highest value obtained Metal Bracket-Transbond XT group (15.03 ± 6.66), while lowest observed 3D-Printed (7.91 3.07). It noted that materials evaluated, most common non-enamel-damaging adhesive–cohesive fractures Bracket SuperLow =13). Conclusions is recommended have sufficient acceptable levels clinical bonding adhesives produce high flowable generating scores.

Comparison of shear bond strength and adhesive remnant index between precoated and conventionally bonded orthodontic brackets
BACKGROUND The purpose of this study was to compare the shear bond strength and adhesive remnant index (ARI) at the enamel-bonding interface of precoated and conventionally bonded brackets, utilizing standardized procedures. METHODS The test sample consisted of 90 recently extracted bovine permanent mandibular incisors. The teeth were bonded using the same protocol and were tested in three di...

Background and purpose: Bracket debonding is a major problem during orthodontic treatment. This research aimed at studying shear bond strength (SBS) and adhesive remnant index (ARI) in two bonding systems (Assure Plus (adhesion booster) and control). Materials and methods: In this vitro trial, premolars (n=90) were divided into two groups. The brackets were bonded either with Transbond XT or A...
